Ok I was driving my 98 Maxima SE yesterday, and a friend of mine was playing with the radio on my BOSE. I pressed the eject-cd button and the cd came out, while I was waiting on the red light I was looking for a new cd to put in, and the BOSE ate the cd it ejected because I didn't take it, when I pressed eject-cd it died on me with a 'click' sound. I couldnt turn it on since.
I checked the fuses under the steering wheel and the hood, both places look good.
Everything else seems to be intact (wipers, trunk) on the same fuse chain.
Is this a known BOSE problem? If so, how much does it cost to fix? What is broken?
