I think I messed Up

I got my 6x9s in today and when I looked in my trunk, the speakers seemed really tiny. I then looked at my dad's 89 and his speakers were huge, and then I looked at my moms 97 and her back speakers look like they are the same size as mine. Granted, my dad's are aftermarket Kenwoods. So do I have 6.5s in the back? Am I going to have to send these back? It's a non-Bose. Also, in my dad's the speakers are bottom mounted and in mine, they appear to not be, as in, more of the magnet hangs out in my dads, than in mine. Please help

not shure what year you have but your moms 97 have 6 3/4 speakers. they are the same size as 6 1/2 but the mounting holes are a little different. try getting 6 3/4

According to crutchfield the '89 uses 6X9, bottom mount. So you shouldn't have a problem.
