What is your favorite single din DECK?

Well that would be my top of the line Sony Xplod CDX-M770ES. It flips down and everything. With two remotes. Its great to show it to friends and watch their faces light up with excitement and confusion all at once. I can't wait to hear the controversy this is going to start.

I would have to say either the Alpine 7990, r the Eclipse 55060, or is on 55090. I can't remember. The alpine is the F1 status HU that has controls for the awesome crossover/DSP/30 band EQ/Time alignment system. The Eclipse plays CD, DVD, CDR, CDRW and has 8 volt Pre-outs and a pretty cool security system. If it looses power it won't turn back on until a CD is inserted. Only you know which CD is the key. Both have copper chassis and both have volume ***** instead of annoying buttons.

I personally like my Clarion DRX-9375R (which, BTW, I'm heartily considering selling). Sure, it's a couple of years old, by electronics standards. But it was on the forefront of 'screensaver' technology at the time. And it still elicits -ooh's- and -aahh's- from some of those that are easily amused!
Of course, nowadays, it doesn't hold a candle to some of the more technologically superior stuff out there (Eclipse, Alpine, and quite possibly Sony come to mind).
So sue me!! I like nostalgia.... At least it ain't an 8-track!

Pioneer Premier DEX-P1R.
There is simply no other deck on the market that can touch it's features and sound quality for the price. Built-in time alignment, crossovers with variable points and slopes, 13 band eq, auto-eq which rta's your car for best response, 4 volt 90 ohm preamp outputs, and the list goes on and on. All this for $300-350 on ebay. Original retail of $870. I use this deck, and the only thing that is better is the new Pioneer DEX-P9/DEQ-P9 combo which is $2000 and the Alpine F1 status which is like $7000. So the choice is yours.
