Momo Components...

Has anyone seen/heard those Momo component systems with woofer, tweeter, and crossover? I think they add a great look to a sound system but the best price I can come up with is 400$, and that seems a lot for a setup that no one seems to have much to say about...

Momo Components

nismo1989,

Momo components amount to a designer series of speakers by
Polk Audio, unless the name impresses you, a comparable quality sound
can be had for less, try Boston acoustics, MB Quarts, or Focal

Way too much money for the quality of the sound. For the same amount of money you can Buy Dynaudio of Focal.

Yup
Not bad speakers.. but you'd be just buying the name 'Momo'.

Do you have any Dynaudio in your Max?

Yes, I am impressed with the name, as I have several Momo components in my car, and my subs are Polk which I must say I love because I have pounded them for a year and they haven't blown (I have a habit of blowing subs). You see, I love a great sound but SPL is of absolutely no concern to me as I am more interested in how lightweight my system can be, not what it can do in an all-out sound competition. Maybe I'm talking to the wrong bunch, as I know nothing about SPL or sound competition, but I was basically wondering, astetics and sound quality, if you all thought these things were worth all that money. Thanks for all your help, I just don't know if I can pay that much for some speakers that probably add another 25 lbs. to my car... ????????????
