Subs and headunit help
I got a clarion cz500 and 2 12 inch visonik subs and this will be my first audio install. I get how to do most of it but i was wondering how do i remove the stock bose headunit in my 98 maxima? also where is the best place in the fire wall on the drivers side to run the power cord from my battery to amp? adn then where is the best place on the passenger side fire wall to run my subs to my headunit... the reason im doing the power cord and amp to headunit cord on different sides is because i heard if you run them on the same side you get a lot of interfearence..
-thanks guys

The interference is often caused by poorly shielded (cheap) signal cables and/or bad grounds.
But you can ground the amp to any solid piece of metal in the trunk. I used the spare tire well, sanded the grounding point down to bare metal, and secured it with a bolt and locking nut. Make sure the grounding point is free of dirty/grease/paint. Some people will say to ground at the seat belt bolts, but the stuff they use to help secure the bolt like loctite can hinder a good connection.

What are the color schemes? See if it matches the other sets, red and white (should be labled which is left or right).
