Replace Bose amp

Im thinking that my next step for my stereo is going to be replacing the bose amp with something a little better, most likely a fosgate. My question lies in how difficult would it be to get the speaker wires from this amp? I had a high low converter wired in for my subs so I'm going to use that for the rca's. my only question comes to how hard is it and if not hard which wires is it on the bose amp?

Thanks ahead guys!

You can't just replace the amp. You'd have to replace the Bose speakers with it.

Have you replaced your head unit yet? That should be the first step you take in replacing your system.

We need more info about your current setup (and how it's wired) so we can give you proper guidance.

If you want to replace the Bose amp, the speakers have to be replaced with aftermarket as well.

If the aftrmarket HU is insufficient, yea, replace all 4 speakers and amp, and run all new wiring.

Sweet I found it. It's a 2006 3.5 SE. I'm working on getting my system hooked up. But all of a sudden the speakers start making a poping sound and play no music? This only happens if I leave the radio on when I turn the car off. I've been told it's most likely my amp but I don't know yet.

It's your HU. Happens with certain decks. Not much you can do about it.

You sure it's wired properly?

So you think the amp is ok? Is the HU the screen?

Helps if you tell us what exactly you're installing and how- that way we can identify the culprit.

I didn't even bother with a low converter. I just replaced all the speakers and the headunit. Then I ran all of my speakers of an amp. It's not hard to run the speaker wires. But it can be a pain.

Then it's definitely your HU. As mentioned, it happens sometimes. Just the way the head unit behaves. Nothing you can do about it unless you change out your amp and speakers..or head unit.
