No bracing?
WTF?

I'd think some shelf bracing between the drivers at least.

looks good! but yeah, i would definately brace the large panels in there. you'll get some major box flexing when those 10s are really moving.

what 10s are you going to use?

I've never really used bracing in any of my boxes...I am replacing my fi bl 15 with three sundown sa 10s.

For now it's going to be powered by a cadence zrs-9 at 1.34 ohm.

Don't hold me to this as I'm not positive what we ended up with (I'll check the design and post later) but I believe it was hxdxl was 13.5x21x48.

Nice lookin box, though I always had issues with a open box like that. Had a 3 cube box 2 10" infinities @ 40 hz two 500 watt rms monoblocks, never got it tuned right. I used a PVC port though. My other box was a single 15" 3 cube with a 20 hz tune for home theater, slot vented port that rolled back into the insides. Wasn't bad.

Tuned too high for vehicle use. Cabin gain will disrupt the port tuning.

What did you use to fill the kerf? Urethane glue seems to be popular on the other boards.

I know!! I wish I could put it in my trunk but I can't fit the kerf with 3 10's. This is for two sundown sa 12's in my buddys Mazda 6.
