Anyone running double din Pioneers?

I hv my AVH-4300DVD coming in this weekend and i'm going to install it next weekend.
I will have the following ready to go:
1. HU
2. Metra or Scosche install dash kit
3. Metra wire harness to take preout from HU to mate with factroy Bose.
4. Antenna adapter.

I'm keeping the factory speakers, amp and sub for now.

Is there anything else I should be adding to the list?

Thanks!

What gen car do you have? If it's 4th you can get away with the stock dash hole. I just installed a AVH-3200BT in my brother in law's 96 and it just bolted to the factory brackets. The only part we had to "fudge" was the open space under the HU but that was easily cleaned up with some foam door insulation.

If you're 5th Gen this thread will answer some questions for you. http://forums.maxima.org/audio-elect...oting-faq.html

yeah i used a piece of abs plastic i fabricated to make for a bottom trim cover. i had a single din alpine cda-9885 for years and it was time to upgrade and having to special order a double din kit was just not worth my time. but the kit does its job as well
