i had a 95 maxima with a Pioneer headunit and it sounded great with stock bose speakers. well this time i installed it and got a 80 dollar JVC from wallmart. do you guys think the brand just doesnt make crystal clear sound? if i turned it up a little more then normal i get lots of crackles and sounds staticky.


should i take it back and get pioneer or is their something i should know about a 99 maxima bose system.

 

I would start out by double checking all the connections.

 

it also could be the speakers themselves...they might be starting to crap out on ya.
