Need advice on amp.

I'm getting 2 12" L7's. I think the max power is 750 watts a piece? Do you think this amp will blow them? I am going to get this amp but I don't want it to blow the subs. I will be bridging it to 2x channel, here is the amp...

The numbers don't add up.
12V X 118 A = 1416 watts at 100% efficiency. Yet they claim 1480 watts. No man made device is 100% efficient. Good class D amps are only 70-80 % efficient.

btw, i thought the L7s were rated to handle like 1000 or 1200 watts?

I don't know what they are rated to handle. They won't see anywhere close to the 750 RMS mentioned above, with that amp.

I eriously doubt that 'that' amp will toast them. In fact, I think a pair of comps would be pretty damn safe with that power.
