static/noise over radio?

I have a noise problem that is more present when listening to AM/FM but it's still there somewhat when listening to CDs and my Ipod.

The best way to describe it is a sort of static at the end of a vocal, it's like something added to the end of every word. I'm guessing it's the amp.

It's not the alternator problem. I fixed that this weekend by routing my RCAs on the opposite side of the car that power is routed.

I have a Alpine CDA-105 and Avionixx amp.

It was the amp. I replaced it with a Soundstream Rub5.800.
