Hi,

I bought a 2004 Nissan Maxima and would like to know what are the options available for replacing the Stereo. I am primarily looking for some good option which can play mp3 music using either CD/USB stick.

My car has Boss Audio Systems without Navigation.

When I recently tried to buy a replacement radio, I recieved the wrong unit and got stuck paying the shipping to return it.arg... Now I am a lot more careful trying to locate the right unit and I can't nobody has one

 

Nissan has terrible radios, Clarion was a top company but too many failing units. I am going after market, cheaper and right unit keeps the steering wheel controls going. My 2004 reception sux too

 

Have you tried Crutchfield? It will list only what fits your vehicle. I would stick with either Alpine, Kenwood or maybe Pioneer. I'm partial to Kenwood's Excelon series.
