Anyone ever heard of these? Im getting 2 12's just like the ones in the link above, just wondering if anyone knew the quality of them..

 

Pretty low end stuff there. Flea market type brand.

yea thats what im thinking, i have 2 comp cvr's now, but im getting these for free... the guy, a 50 year old "audiophile" says he had them hooked up to his Hifonics Brutus at 1-ohm and they beat harder than his mmats 12's....smh we'll see about that

 

getting it for free eh? i say take them and then sell them!

are your kickers currently in a sealed or ported box?

 

they're in a sealed box, however its a box meant for a hatchback or truck so the cu/ft is <1.5 per chamber... Im also running them through a crappy Audiophonics ADF-241 2 channel amp... Upgrading rather shortly

 

if you want quite a bit more output, consider putting them in a ported box.
