I have a 3rd gen Max... and found some nice infinity component speakers for like $100, they have 5.25" midbass/midrangers and I'm a wondering if there is any way to mount these in the front... I think they normally have 4 x6s.

Has anyone ever done this (Im sure someone has)

I dunno, any help on mounting these would be appreciated, i want to make sure I can mount these great sounding speakers before I buy.

I'm sure an MDF trim piece could be easily shaped to adapt the door for a 5 1/4. Or you could buy a quart of bondo and build a kick panel.
