Right now i have a single din pioneer hu in my car, a guy i know might be selling his pioneer flip out radio and i was thinking about buying it. However if i mount the flip out in the upper position of my scosche dash adapter kit when the screen is flipped out it will block the a/c vents. My question was, has anyone modified the dash adapter kit so a hu would fit in the lower slot where the pocket usually is? I know that would still block some of the a/c vent, but not near as much.

AC is AC, itll cool the car whether hitting you or not, so its your decision if you wana take the hard way and make a near-pointless mod or just keep it the way it is.
