I just go a 2000 Maxima. The keyless remote was physically in bad shape. I got new covers, but the internals were not in good shape so I got a new keyless remote. I followed the instructions to program it, it the door lock remotes worked for a while. Now they do not work. The trunk still opens with the remote, but doors don't lock and unlock any more. I have reprogrammed it a number of times and can only get the trunk to unlock. Any ideas? I search for this issue and found something back in 2010 but it did not address this specific problem. Thanks.
