Hi i'm changing the radio in my 97 Maxima and there are 3 plugs along with the antenna connection. I ordered my metra harness then went to best buy and asked them what the 3rd connection is for * i have no steering wheel controls* & the guy told me to just leave it unplugged....what is this connection for?

 

Probably was there for steering controls, regardless of whether you had the option or not.

 

Didn't even notice this but thanks the guy at Best Buy figured the same thing
