Best Speaker Combination? Brand?

Ok i have decided to replace the bose speakers rather than buy the pd4 for 180$ from www.linkmeup.com

What i want to know is:

What speaker combination sounds best?
FRONT BACK
6 3/4 Components & 6x9 3way
6 3/4 3ways & 6x9 3way
6 3/4 Components & 6 3/4 Components
6 3/4 3way & 6 3/4 3way
6 3/4 Components & 6 3/4 3way

You get the idea.

What brands and models do you reccomend for a 300 - 500 Budget?

FYI: I will use HU with 35w RMS/50W Max x 4 to drive them.
they will be along side 2 12" pioneer subs(diamondplate model)
driven by Sony Xplod(400W) 2x200w (rms unknown)

Thanks for your opinions guys!

I've been looking @ 6 3/4 RF Fanatic P components front and rear

Any comments?

Thats right in my price range. The fanatic X's seem a little high.
and Fanatic Q's seem more like competition material.

while back I helped another .org'er with an install on some of the rockford 6.5" 2-ways. I forget what series they were, but he paid around $100 for the pair. they sounded pretty good for a $100 speaker. if you're on a budget, I'd definitely recommend these.

well the components are only $20 more ~ $120-130

So i think im going to go with them and install them myself.
But i was debating on 6x9 3 ways for the rear for mids and highs.

Better yet i will get some replacement speakers from RadioShak they are on par with the quality of these "nice" bose speakers im seeing.

Who would have thought such descent sound could come from paper?

Yea but the components are going to reqiure an amp to sound right, check out the Infinity Reference 6.5" they have a rotating tweet to help image better, around $100 for the pair from CC or Crutch, they are the number 1 selling speaker! They sound great or try the JBL GTO 625 same price, and the tweeter piviots and rotates, really cool, they sound great also. They are all very efficent so they don't need an amp. Are you looking for a set of components or coax's?
