Aftermarket halo headlights

Aftermarket halo headlights
I have a 03 maxima, and it has one clear lens and one blurry. rather than pay $200-400 for another clear headlight, figured that I could grab some after market halos for less then $200 a pair. Long story short, can I add my factory HIDs to the aftermarket halos and has any else done this.
PS. I know they are not compatible with the aftermarket headlights but has anyone ever modified them.

Not worth it...you may as well do a projector retro on those aftermarket headlights if you buy them...your light output from these cheap ebay headlights will more than likely be terrible (yes speaking from experience from a different car with hid's and aftermarket headlights), AND with hid's on and being so bright in the non projector housing, you probably wont even see the halo rings illuminated at night. actually, even the cheap headlights with "projectors" have crap light output and you will wish you had kept your stock, 1 blurry headlight in.
if your saying the "blurry" headlight is oxidation, just pay $11-$13 for a bottle of plastix from walmart or pep boys etc and that should clear you right up.
