Replacing Bose system

I have a 98 I30 with a bose system and am going to replace the head with a Eclipse 55060 and a pair of Focal Utopia 165W infront and a PPI 80x2 amp. I don't want to spend money on the rears if I don't have to and was wondering if the bose rears and the respective amps could still be used. If not what size are the bose rears and what would you recommend to replace them? I'm not going to add a subwoofer for awhile, so I need a little bass. anything equivalent or more powerful then the bose bass is prefered.

My understanding is that Bose speakers and amps use different or non-standard amperage among other things. So Keeping the rear Bose will probably not work. Or it may work until something burns out.
