I drive a 96 I30 and certain songs with continuous bass makes my rear view mirror vibrate like none other. Is there anything I can add or do to prevent this problem?

 

Turn it up!

 

Tuck a piece of rubber between the mirror and the roof.
Hose works well.
Just wedge it in and no problems.

Mine used to fall when I turned up my sub.

You are probably missing the nub or factory rubber that rested on the windshield.

 

Depends on where it is vibrating.
It will always shake to some extent.
