Need help bad

Sorry about last thread. Ok, I recently bought two 6x9 speakers from a friend. I ripped off the adaptor from the old factory speakers and soldered it to the new speakers. Come to find out there is no way to fit. So I let then sit above the back dash to go pick up my friend, but as I was driving the speakers kept going in and out. Until I stopped at gas station and I moved the speaker just a little and they came back to life! So I got home drilled some holes in the back dash bolted the speakers facing up in trunk, conect speakers now none of the speakers work. I know I was dumb to drive around with them to keep shorting out. Just curious of what I need to do now

Find an installer that knows what they're doing?
