Panasonic CD recievers

I really wanted an in-dash DVD player w/ LCD but since I can't afford that right now I was thinking about just getting a good CD player. I was considering Panasonics, especially the CQ-DF801U. Anyone have this deck or can you recommend it?

i have the 701, have had it or about 6 months and have never gotten anything bad from them. However if you have 600-700 to spend you can get the panasonic that plays DVDs and has video output with the built in center channel.

yeah - panasonic headunits are very nice......very nicely priced as well........but i think the rockford fosgate headunits are better, pretty much the same price
