Beautil 1994 Juniper Green GXE for Sale -- SF Bay area!!

Beautiful 1994 Juniper Green GXE auto for Sale -- SF Bay area !
I've been an avid Maxima.org reader for a while (since last September.. when I started to look for a mid-ninties Maxima to buy), and, to my regrets, I need to sell my beloved 3rd Gen before I head back to school.
1994 Nissan Maxima GXE (has spoiler though)
66,500 miles (roughly)
Car was in storage for 2 years by previous owner. I am the second owner -- I purchased the car in Jan. 2001, and I am moving across the country to Pennsylvania for school in late May, and unfortunately, I can't take the car with me -- I was anticipating keeping the car, but driving across the country is too time consuming for me to do. As a result, the car has been kept in fabulous condition!
I have the service records for the car, and a repair manual, as well.
Excellent Condition! -- This is probably one of the best condition 3rd generation Nissan Maximas you can find! Had 60K service check done in January, new tires in Front (63K), New Battery (Jan 2001), and New Brakes (60K). Rear tires have a lot of tread left on them, and will probably last another 30-40 thousand miles.
Green emerald metallic exterior
Tan leather interior
Upgraded audio System in 1/2001 worth over $1000 -- includes in dash CD Unit (Panasonic DF800U, external Clarion APX 400.4 4 x 50 W amplifier, 2 Infinity 6.5" speakers in Front; 2 Infinity 6" x 9" speakers in rear.) The headunit has a removeable faceplate; and it is very easy to add subwoofers, additional amplifers, and a Panasonic CD changer to it.) It sounds awesome! All crappy BOSE components were removed and sold -- the BOSE headunit died with the previous owner, so I upgraded.
Power Tilt/slide Moon Roof
Keyless Entry
Climate control system
Tinted Windows
Rear Spoiler
Dual Power seats (driver + passenger)
Driver-side airbag
automatic seatbelts (yes, those pesky things that are in all 3rd gens.).
automatic transmission
Every single option that was available is on this car (except for ABS, which Owner #1 told me this car had... but after close inspection, I realized it didn't)!
Underbody rust protection.
Kelly retail is $10975 without accounting for upgraded stereo... so I'd like at least $9500 - 10,000 for the car. About the only thing the car needs is an Oil change, which is due on May 1st.
The driver's side Front Power Window regulator was replaced with the reinforced part two years ago, and the passenger side front Power Window regulator will be replaced when I get the part in from Courtesy Nissan this week --It failed last weekend suddenly... nice to know this is a common failure
I am in the San Francisco Bay area, (specifically Alameda, CA) and I would prefer a local buyer. I will consider shipping the car, but only if the buyer pays for shipping.
I unfortunately don't have a camera right now... but if I can get my hands on one soon, I will post pics up of it.
Post any questions / comments please, & feel free to contact me!

If I sold it to you that low, you could take out a loan, sell it for around my asking price, and pocket the difference. You wouldn't even need to get any repairs, save for the power window regulator... which I am getting fixed this week...
So, anyone want to offer something more reasonable?

i just wanted to reply that the price your asking is reasonable. when i bought my 92gxe last year it was around $8,500. it had under 70k and has no leather and no sunroof. it was in damn good condition though and brand new tires. i live in pittsburgh by the way, dont know if that effects price. although when you buy from a dealership you have a warranty and people usually feel more comfortable when buying from a place they know. good luck selling it. go buy another max when you get to pittsburgh.

Yeah, I'd agree that that sounds like a fair price for the SF Bay Area. Good cars are more expensive here. It being a no salt state, they probably wear a bit better too..
I paid $7k for a 93gxe with 92k miles a little over a year ago in SF. Excellent condition, private party. It was quite a bit cheaper than any of the similar vehicles for sale too.
Sure glad I got a Maxima and not an Altima (which was what I was originally looking at) .

Way back in 1993 (before I could drive)... I wanted my mom to get a Maxima. She came so *close* getting one.. but the particular dealer irritated her in the end, and she got an Accord
Which is why, when I got to pick a car for myself, I got that Maxima that I wished my mom had purchased.
Right now I'm thinking about driving back across the country with the car, in which case I'd get to keep it, but I don't want to go alone. I might post on craigslist to get someone to accompany me across country.
Anyone want to drive a 3rd Gen with me from SF to Philadelphia in early to mid May? Then I won't have to sell the car!
It'll be a lot of fun, and take a week to a week and a half!
