Hey everyone, it's been a while since I've been here. Happy New Year and hope everyone and their Maxis are doing well.


I'm curious if anyone is using the later model Kenwood DNX units - particularly the DNX893S, DNX894S or the newest 994S.
I've been using the DNX9990HD for a few years now and I'm trying to determine if it would be worth upgrading the one of their newer units. I briefly tried the DNX892 and didn't like it at all as it was very convoluted and a PITA to switch from phone mirroring to BT on the go. I already read some gripes about the DNX893S, found very little on the DNX894S and virtually nothing on the newest DNX994S so I'm looking for some feedback from anyone who's had hands-on experience with them. Just installed a Kenwood DMX7705S unit in my 03. It has Applecar play and so far it's working pretty well and is a definite upgrade from the Stock unit.
