MusicBox HDD Fail

I have a 7th Gen (2009) SV Tech with the large MusicBox hard drive. On startup, the head unit is now taking 2 - 5 minutes to boot, then displays a HDD error message to contact Service Dept.

The back-up cam, navigation, AM/FM/Satelite radio work after the delayed boot. CD player does not work. The MusicBox does not display when the Disk/Aux button is toggled. I suspect the drive has failed, but have some questions and I would appreciate your feedback.
  1. I could not locate a fuse for any head unit parts. Any ideas on location?
  2. Is there a way to reset the MusicBox? (I did disconnect the + battery terminal as mentioned in other posts)
  3. Is there a way to disable the hard drive (and retain Navi and other functions?
  4. Can the drive be replaced?
Cheers!
Jeff
