I HAVE A 97 MAXIMA, I JUST WANT TO KNOW DOES THE TRUNK VIBRATE ALOT AND WILL I NEED TO INSTALL SOUND DEADENING. IM PLANNING ON GETTING 2 JL 12 W3S WITH A 500 WATT AMP.

 

YES THE TRUNK RATTLES. ALL TRUNKS RATTLE WHEN LARGE WOOFERS ARE USED. SOUND DEADENING SHOULD ALWAYS BE USED. THE REAR DECK WILL RATTLE TOO. YOU CAN GET A STUFF CALLED PEEL & SEAL FROM LOWES THAT WORKS GREAT AND ITS AROUND $15 FOR 12.5 SQ. FT. YOU WOULD NEED ABOUT 3 TO 4 ROLLS TO COVER THE TRUNK AND DECK. HOPE THAT HELPS.

you can also use expanding foam for the trunk lid and quarter panels. do a search in here for expanding foam. you will find alot
