maximadave eclipse 7002 question

hi, i was wondering if its possible to add navigation to the 7002. i read somewhere that it needs ECOM (like the 5101) to run the 9902/9002. can i hook up a navigation unit directly to the 7002 or do i need an ECOM equiped unit?
thanks

You need a ECOMM equipped head unit for it to work. The AV5101 is much better, 8V preamp (instead of 5V), On board A/V switching, 2 video inputs instead of one, and of course ECOMM. I would get the 5101 over the 7002.

Dave,
Do you have any pics or more specs on the 5101?

Thanks
