running amp power cable

I'm having trouble finding exactly the right spot to run the power cable for my amp in my 97 max gxe. I can't seem to find a good place in the firewall. Should it be under the steering wheel to the left of the pedals or on the passenger side somewhere ? If anyone has done this before or anyone that knows specifically where to put it, it would help.

Make it easy on yourself. Remove the driver's front fenderwell covering. Then you can see the firewall from the wheel. Insert a coathanger (or some other strong, small object that won't puncture a wire) through the firewall. Get a flashlight, and look up under the driver's panel. It should be to the FAR LEFT side, like it's directly connected to the SIDE wall instead of the front wall. It's about 1-1.5 feet above the floorboard. That should make it easier to find. Then use a flat blade screwdriver or other object to make a hole big enough to get the wire through.

Guys, run it on wither side. Preferrably on the fusebox side. You want your Patchcords running on the OPPOSITE side ALWAYS!!! Keep the patchcords away from power sources, even if you run good cords...

E-mail me and I'll hook you up.
