Need help with some basic issues ASAP!

Hey whats up guys. I bought some audio stuff for my 2k se without bose and I'm in a little dilema. A friend said he'd do it for me but well I think he won't do it...

Well this is what I bought:

- Legacy 2 Channel 1600watt amp
- $20.00 wiring kit from walmart that says 300 watt max
- A box
- 2 12" JBL Subs the Dual Voice Coil ones

Honestly I have no idea where to start, I'm pretty much a retard when it comes to wiring anything you guys think I could take on the task by myself. I have a stock headunit and I just want to wire the amp to my rear speaker. Please I'd appreciate any tips from you guys!!! Thanks so much in advance!

I'm sure if you follow directions you can do it your self, but if you run into a problem, without any knowledge youre gonna have a hard time troubleshooting it. I say let someone else do it.

Sell that Legacy amp and buy a real amplifier....

Seriously though your options for wiring the amp to the subs is either 2 Ohm stereo with the subs coils wired in parallel or a series/parallel wiring method to get a 4 Ohm load that your amp can drive in bridged mono mode...

As for instructions on installing amplifiers there's a nice easy one located at www.teamrocs.com/technical

In addition to the wiring, you might need a HI/LOW converter especially if you are planning to run them from the rear speakers.. I am sure you can do it, just as long as you are careful, and take your time.. EMAIL me ChiTwista@Yahoo.com I will give you as much help as I can... SAVE YOUR MONEY..
