feeback on clarion mp3/dvd/vcd/cd player

has anyone used one before?? how is it?? the model number for it is vs715, it's a stand alone unit and costs $499 at fry's i'm thinking about getting it. It seems like it's a good deal cuz it can do MP3's and DVD's ontop ofa the regular stuff. i wanted to hear feeback on that unit, whether or not its quality is good and if anyone knows of a place where i could get it cheaper. TIA

wow mingo i wanted to buy one of those too
as a secondary to the eclipse screen headunit

i've installed like 2 of them now.. i like them
not very problematic... too bad their GUI sucks
besides that it seems pretty good.. it even has
dolby digital outputs

well... the gui is the graphical user interface.
on the clarion, the gui consists of an ugly blue
screen. no spectrum analyzers, no fun colors
just a bunch of ugly white letters on a blue
screen
FUN

awww shoot i thot it'de look hella sick or something since clarion usually has pretty nice displays for their decks... but have u seen the MP3 displays? or does it suck as well?????? i guess display doesn't matter way too much as long as it sounds good.. but i'de really wanna see it powered up beforei buy it.. alpine is coming out with a unit similar to that in june but is gonnar und around 1400 bux or so MSRP.. i dont' think i'll be able to afford that ne time soon.
