Eclipse e-comm and navigation

Does anyone know if you need the eclipse commander(e-comm) to use the navigation. I found the navigation for sale on e-bay but I dont want to buy it if i cant hook it up without the e-comm. I would appreciate any info that any of you have on this. Thanks, kyle

You need Eclipse commander as well as a E-Com controlling Eclipse head unit. I have Eclipse 9902 Navigation piece without an antenna for $75 if you're interested.
