help build 6.5" speak mounts for front doors

Hi guys - I'm looking to put some 6.5 inch kenwood speakers in the front doors of my 93 SE. Yes, it came with BOSE audio, but we all know how much that sucked. i've already got the wires to the doors, but when i made my custom mounts, they don't fit under the door panel. if anyone can please take a bunch of pics of theirs, measure every possible dimension, and post it, or email it to me, i'd be thankful. Also, i'd be willing to pay to have them made. Lowest bidder with a functioning product wins.

Thanks -
Gavin

Ive just done this for my 95 and its quite easy if you can get to the right tools.

Use 1 x 1/4" HDF( high desitry fiberboard

And trace the pattern of the bose module base with a pencil.
USe a scroll saw to cut the pattern out.

Now get some 3/4" or 5/8" MDF(medium density fiberboard) or HDF.
And trace the outline shape of the new speaker outline by flipping it over. Estimateor measure the width of the lip of speaker and use a compass to draw a circle within the outline that will be the lip which the speaker sits on.( some new speakers come with templates!) Cut two of these extension rings for each door using the scroll saw and screw them together and then to the 1/4" base Then all if it back to the door using the original bolts of possible and then mount yo speaker! MAke sure to get a good silicone seal or foam baffle for the back. and double check for driver clearance from the window.

Thats it

I wish i had pictures but oh well it only took 2 hours and it was my first time so i made 2 sets a trial pair and a final pair which i sanded and sealed with resin. and sealed to the door.

Tommorow i mount my Inifinity Kappas and wire em up!
I cant wait. Finally sound after 6 weeks!!

hmmmm i dont think you got what i was saying.

The ones i built are a MDF replica of the plastic bose pods in the
95 -99 Maxima. Im not sure what the 3rd Gen bose pods look like.

So i dont have any way of knowing if what i build will fit or not.
So i dont wanna build em ship em and have you get all ****ed off cause they dont fit.

sorry
