Keep in mind its not something that is going to shake the car but if your looking to add some bass it does that quite well. There is also an optional level control **** you can buy for about $30 so you can turn the sub up and down from inside the cabin. As for the install its really easy, all it requires is power, ground and signal. It has a smart turn on feature so it will turn itself on and off with out a remote wire when you use the high level inputs. To intergrade it with your Bose all you would need to do is tap into the rear speakers wires and run them into the high level input on the Basslink. Should take you about an hour if you have done audio stuff before.
Re: Re: Infinity Basslink
I used this in my maxima for 1 week and returned it because the bass was not sloppy and not controlled. I'd suggest a sub/amp combo.

Funny that you ask. I asked about the same thing a couple of months ago.
Anyway, i decided to go for it because i just want a good SQ system that doesn't eat up my entire trunk. I got it used for $160 from a guy at the Sounddomain forum. Will be installing it this weekend.
When i auditioned this at Cartoys i didn't like how it sounded but then again it was just placed on the shelf while the reference system was a set of 12" subs in custom enclosures which, obviously, sounded awesome.
I noted that the Basslink was made to sound good inside the car so obviously it would sound like crap on the shelf. It's just like making a sealed sub work in a free air environment.
For a 200w (RMS) amp, a 10" sub, a 10" passive radiator all for such a price you really can't go wrong with it. Granted you won't win any SPL wars but like i said that's not what i'm out to accomplish.
I'll let you know how it goes.
