I am running an amp with subs off of my bose hu, and i have noticed that it is very hard to be loud without losing sound quality. I know that a new hu will probably make the biggest difference, but I am not planning on getting a new one till summer. I could, however, buy a line driver. Will this make a big difference in sound quality? I was thinking about buying a Phoenix Gold line driver from Sound Domain for like $120. opinions?

 

I would highly recommend just saving your $120 and putting it into the new head unit this summer. you'll be happier in the long run.

live with crap for a few months and it'll pay off later.

 

Thanks man... I'm glad you replied so quickly, because I was thinking about buying this real soon. I guess I'll just wait though. What do you think about the new Clarion Head Units? I was thinking about getting the DXZ925.
