How 2 rewire blue led into Ignition ring

I know this mod can be done. There has to be an Electronic GURU in here somewhere tha would know how to replace the green ignition ring with a blue LED. I've already changed out all my interior lights to blue (WINDOW switches) btu I want to have the blue ignition ring as the final touch!

Thanks in advance!

Well, it would be possible to do with LED's and resistors, but you might want to just buy an LED meant to replace an incandescent lamp. Page 565 of the 2001 Allied catalog (www.aliedelec.com) has LED lights desiged to replace Incandescent Lamps, so they just plug right in place of a new light bulb. It might be a little more expensive, but it should do the trick and it'll be cleaner/easier. I'm pretty sure they have the right replacement bulb too..I almost bought one. You should be able to take out the light bulb that's there now, and if you take the blue condom off it, I think there's a part number on the bulb.

Edit: You can most likely find the bulbs somewhere else, although you should be able to order from Allied. I just used them becausemy dad has their catalog at home and I know I had seen the bulbs in there.

Nope, not yet. I was going to do the factory alarm led next. Parts Express has blue 12 volt leds, but they are a little expensive, for leds.
