EVEN THOUGH I AM NOT A NEWBIE*caps lock off*But, I am going to be ripping the BOSE out of my car. I am picking up all new speakers and a headunit soon. My question is: My dad has a 93 Chevy truck. I would like to give him my BOSE system (It is in good shape) would it work in his truck? What would need to be done?

You'd need to move over the whole system (head unit, amps, and speakers), and duplicate the wiring. It's best to get the Chiltons manual which has the wiring diagram in it.
