how many watts is the 1200.1? this guy i sort of know is running 2 PPI 600w amps, dont know model #, on 2-12" L7's and its freakn loud...i can here him rolling up from like 1/2 way into my school..and when you stand next to his car, its like the ground is shaking...my goal is to have those 2 amps powering my subs, cuz its plain kick assssss

3 dvc 4ohms? How do you plan on wiring that? You wouldnt even be able to get 1ohm outta it.. you might be better off with 2 DVC4 for final load of 1ohm. (which is what most class D's put max power out at)

(note i have no idea where ppi 1200.1 puts out max power, tho im guessin 1200w at 1ohm from its model #)

im gunna run them parallel so i can get a 2-ohm load. i dont think those subs can handle a 1-ohm load

subs dont handle loads. subs PRESENT loads to amps. its amps that can or cant handle loads.

3dvc4 in parallel would net you like a .66ohm load. i dont remember how to calculate it, i just remember the standards like 3 dvc6's, or 2 dvc 2/4 ohms..

sub#1 4-4 =2
sub#2 4-4 =2
sub#3 4-4 =2

they would become 2 ohms EACH in parallel. If you parallel 2 of those subs, you'd have a final of 1ohm. The third should drop you to either .5 or .66. Doesnt matter really, cuz your amp probably cant handle it.
