ATTN... All those who have gotten rid of the bose...HELP!!!
i have a HUGE problem. I am re-installing the bose back in my car to prepare it to be sold and i put everything back in as it was when new..... I resaudered the speaker wire connections back to the factory plug (the plug that goes int o the big black speaker enclosures).. the head unit it hook up back witht the factory harness...and i have power and the head unit seems to work fine..HOWEVER.. i get no sound what so ever coming out of the speakers. Has anybody else had this ...what could this possible be... i have no idea....pleeeease help

If I remember correctly, the head unit sends a +12V signal to a relay that controls the speaker amps. If the head unit turns on but that relay does not (no "click" sound from under dash somewhere)then maybe you could have a blown fuse or a bad relay.
When I traded in my 92 SE I just left in the aftermarket head unit and speakers because even though I still had the whole Bose system, it was too much of a pain in the a** to re-install.
