Hu wiring question

Hu wiring question

i have the new alpine cda 7893. It says that i need to connect the battery lead to the positive terminal of my battery. The lead required is an extensionbattery lead(20a) anyone have an idea where i can get this from. Also, where do i connect my blue wire for the power antenna? also where should i ground the unit witht he ground wire? i have a 98 maxima btw with no bose

You just need a wiring harness adapter to connect your radio to the stock harness. Check with any place that sells car stereo stuff.

Schmoo beat me to the answer.Even a place like Radio Shack or Wal mart would have it in their car audio section.

thanks guys it works, the thing is it doesnt even fit in the dash, i thought no kit was needed for maxima? i want to flush it and know i have to drill holesbut it doenst fit through dash panel any help appreciated

The trim ring is probably removable. There was a thread recently about a head unit sticking out (look for those words in title) that discussed this issue.

God point with the trim ring. Most of them are removeable. Although I have seen a few (very few) radios that did not fit properly and a little bit of trimming was required. As far as it sticking out....uhhh cant help ya there
