Suggestions wanted for replacement system
Suggestions wanted for replacement system
Ok, the cd player in the head unit of my 97 bose system is toast and
rather than get raped replacing I've decided its time to replace.
I've read enough about it to know that I have to replace the speakers as well because their resistance is weird (1 ohm Ithink).
I think the sound from the bose system is just about perfect, to me it lacks a litte bass. Any suggestions for replacement speakers to keep the same level and perhaps add a little more. The 00+ max's have a seventh speaker right in the middle of the back deck, thats a sub right? I could see myself doing that but no way would I put a sub box in the trunk. Also, I know that each speaker has it's own amp so does that mean I will have to run new wires in order to bypass them? Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks

If u only need to replace the headunit you can by this converter thingy that lets u use your bose speakers with a new headunit. They cost about 35 bucks.I rewired all my speakers to a amp so i could get a better quality of high and mids .And i have a 2nd amp for my subs in the trunk
