Review of the Kenwood KDC-MP919
I bought the Kenwood KDC-MP919 from a local stereo shop about 2 weeks ago. I thought that I was going to be unhappy at first, but the MP3 player is quite nice. It has a brushed aluminum face with MASK capabilities. Overall, it is great with MP3s. It takes about 4 seconds for it to scan and catalog the disks when you put them in, but once you do that, it's good to go. There is only a 1 sec pause when switching folders. You can fast forward through tracks and it will also read ID3 tags. It has great EQ capabilities although mostr people with external amps will find these features useless. It has a 2 line display. You can set the top line to display the folder names and the bottom line to display song and artist information. Anyway, just thought I would let you guys know a bit about this HU. I would highly recommend it.

Yeah, you can hear music, and it gives you a track play timer, but the music is real low. It also FFWs relatively fast. Most MP3 players that would let you FFW that I've seen were SLOW. This one really isn't that bad.

Well, i guess thats better than nothing. How fast is the loadtime between tracks? The older ones are about .5-1s .. cept the sony & alpine 7878 which were pretty quick.
