I plan on replacing my stock CD/Tape player with an aftermarket unit. I'm not familiar with these aftermarket stuff so I'm going to need some help.

After going to Best Buy and Circuit City I've narrowed down my choices to 2 recievers. They are the Sony CDX-CA700X and Rockford Fosgate RFX9000.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

i just baught a pioneer 6400 cd player from best buy last week. It cost me about 270 with free install. It has the dolphines and indy cars racing in the back ground as well as XM satallite radio ready. I love it, it made all the speakers inside the car alot cleaner and also all the EQ possibilities to play with. I would recommend this cd player over the fosgate or sony.

 

Thanks for the reply. I wasn't really sure which one to get because the guy at Best Buy kept pushing me to get the Rockford Fosgate. I was told that it was on clearance and he's not working on commission.

I'll check it out this weekend.

 

the pioneer 7400 or 740mp pioneer premier are good decks to get the 640 is good also
