XM radio INSTALL

I have installed my xm radio 2 days ago, everything worked fine until today. Everytime I brake or go over a bumb my regular fm radio kicks in and that reception from the xm is lost and then comes back again. (in and out when driving). I checked all the connections to the xm box, looks ok. And I remember that before when the xm was on you couldn't hear other fm stations and now you can. Could it be something with the fm modulator or maybe the antena connection got loose somewhere. (I purchased two connections for the xm hook up- one that converts 2 prong antena cable into 1 and the other to convert it back to 2 prong that is the bose system uses. Please let me know what you think. Any input will be appreciated. I really don't wanna rip everything out again to check connections. Oh yeah, 1 more thing...I already tried changing the station between 87.9 and 90.1MGz without any luck. the reception from regular fm radio kicks in every now and then.

And yes the reception on the display for the xm shows full 3 dashes.
