Will my alt be fine? Or do I need a cap?

Will my alt be fine? Or do I need a cap?

Im gonna run 4awg wire to a 100amp anl fuse, then 4awg on back to the trunk and run 2 short runs or 8awg to a MTX6500d and mtx 302 amp. THe 6500d I guess pulls 75 amps and the 302 60amps. Should I be ok? Remember, thats at full tilt! I have a 30amp fuse on the 302 currently off of 10awg and in a year HAVE NOT blown it, and have been using it to run my sub, so I think it will at most pull around 40amps prolly?

So, would I need a cap or do you think I will have much dimming at all since I am feeding the setup some good wires?

Also, what is the stock alt rated at? I have a 95 GXE with A/C, and power seat.

The stock alt on the '95 is probably 90-100 amps. That's a guess because I know the '99 SE is 110, I think the GLE is 120. Your MTX 302 has a pretty decent set of capacitors built in. But you are tripling your current demand by adding the Class D amp rated at about 3 times the power of the 302. If it were my car there would definitely be at least 1 farad of capacitance. And I would probably use at least 2 gauge wire for that setup, but 0 gauge is the recommended minimum. Then 4 gauge from the fuse block to the amps.
