I have a rockford rca cable running to the back of my max, and it has a small wire running down the middle of the two RCA parts. Is this supossed to be grounded at each end or is it just an easy integrated remote turn-on lead? I dont have it hooked to anything right now but i do have some alternator noise so i was wondering if grounding it to my head unit and then to my amp would help.

Thanks,
Ely T.

Well, it's ment to be used as a remote lead

but your better off grounding both ends. Otherwise your just asking to bring engine noise into the system.
