Sound System Help

A friend and I are going to install a sound system in my car in the near future. He knows more than me, so that is why he is helping. Here is the question: Does anyone know where to run a 4 gauge power wire? If it has to go thru the firewall does anyone know where it is easiest, perhaps thru an existing hole, or does there have to be some drilling? If so, where is a good spot. Please help. Thanx.

Is your car a 5/6 speed? If not....look in the spot where the clutch would be....drill away !!!! Works everytime, well except when the car never had a 5/6 speed option.

You dont have to drill...

I'll tell you where I put it on my 95, and you can see if it will work on yours...

On the firewall, driver's side, just above and to the left of the dead pedal. There is a large rubber grommet there with a large bundle of wires coming through it. If you take out the fender liner on the left front wheel, you can see the other side of this grommet. I just ran the wire into the fender well, and cut a slit in the grommet for it.

Viola.

Once you see it, you'll know what I'm talking about.
