How did you stop your rear part of the trunk from rattling?

Where it says Maxima?? I have like 4 cans of expanding spray foam back in there that I put in last summer, it was a ***** too, screwed up my lock and my push button trunk realese. So I dont want to take that out and put more in, but it did work for a time now the rattles are returning, although not NEARLY like it was.

You think if I took some dynamat and put it along that area on the INSIDE part of the trunk lid, like right behind the panel that you pull off, would that work?? Maybe some egg crate stuffed inbehind it?? How about some underlaying floor mat (the stuff that goes under our floors). I just wanna get rid of this rattle I have right there. Its rather annoying, I mean, I dont hear it inside but people can on the outside and I dont wanna get laughed at for that...lol

Dynamat, Dynamat, and more Dynamat until it stops. Best results if you heat it in place to mold along with the lid. Be careful though, once you heat Dynamat it gets really hot and it will burn your fingers. Looks the best that way rather than just cutting and sticking. Also check to make sure your weatherstriping is in good shape, sometimes if it's all ratty the trunk will rattle more.

what he said, except dynamat is a RIP OFF. go for eDead (edesignaudio.com), or b-quiet (b-quiet.com), or even the ice shield from home depot. but whatever you do, DONT GET dynamat. its like paying $100k for a factory maxima, IT AINT WORTH IT, WHEN THERES AN EQUAL OR BETTER MAXIMA NEXT TO IT FOR WAY LESS MONEY

I used Dynamat and it worked awesome. No more rattles inside or outside. Also, with Dynamat Extreme you dont have to heat up anymore. If you look around you can get some good deals on it.
