Just got back from the audio shop. I got 2 JL Audio 10W7 and two JL Audio 500/1 on order. It is going to slam so hard. I have Two W6 and a JL 500/1 now and thts pretty loud, but when I herd the W7 OMYGOD I had to have them. I am lucky though, the shop is buying my stuff back and doing a little bit of trading so no money out of pocket.

 

damn 2 10w7's, pretty sweet. so your going to be running both off of the one 500/1 or are you keeping the older one and just trading in the subs?

 

well, I am having a little trouble with the 500 I have now. So they are going to send it back to JL. And they are taking the 12W6 back. Just one 10W7 is as loud if not louder than both my 12w6s with the same power. The 10W7 are 500 wts rms so the 500/1 will be fine for each speaker.

 

I recomend that you deaden and pull apart your trunk completely and thread lock or it will start rattling like crazy.

Good choice on the subs I went to w7 training about six/seven months ago and heard them they pound and are clearrrr. great speakers. If you have the $$$$.

 

dude, i just realized from your sig, that you were at the maxima meet at blanchard. what shop did you get your stuff from??

 

I got it from Audio Exelance in Oviedo. I realy was not clear on my settup. It will be one 500/1 for each 10W7.
