I want a screen in my dash but don't like flip out monitors. Are there any double din units that have a LCD screen that can control a changer and handle video/nav? How about a hide a way conrol unit that works by remote or a touch screen system? Any ideas?

 

i believe eclipse has something like what youre talking about, but youll pay out the derriere for it.

I remember some guy here custom fabricates them and sells them. I just dont remember who

 

i'm not sure exactly what you are asking for. but from my take, why don't you get a nice 7" or 6.5" screen install that in the center dash, and then get a nice head unit for the cd player/changer, and then you can add nav also.

i think this might be the only way to get away with not wanting motorized flip out screens. alpine and clarion have some nice units.

 

clarion has a new model coming out that would fit almost flush into the double din opening and it is touch screen.I have a pamphlet with a pic but i left it at home.

 

Do you have a price or a model number?
